Privacy Policy
What happens to information you give us, in plain language. This covers enquiries made by phone or through this website.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what happens to information you provide when you contact Bain Brothers Plumber or use this website. It is written in plain language deliberately, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.
It applies to this website and to enquiries made through it or by telephone. It does not cover other websites you may reach through links here, which operate under their own policies.
Information we collect
When you call or contact us, we collect what you tell us: your name, contact details, service address, and a description of the problem. We collect it because we cannot dispatch a technician or price a job without it.
When you visit this website, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you view. That data is generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure and is used to keep the site working and secure.
We do not ask for financial account details through this website, and you should not send them by email.
How the information is used
Contact details are used to arrange and carry out the work you asked about, to send quotes and invoices, and to follow up on a job. Service history is retained so that a technician returning to a property knows what was done previously.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Information may be shared with another local provider in the limited circumstance described on this site, where a call is forwarded because we cannot attend. That sharing is limited to what the other provider needs to reach you and understand the job.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies to remember display preferences and to measure how pages are used in aggregate. Analytics of that kind tells us which pages are useful and which are not.
Most browsers let you refuse cookies or delete existing ones through their settings. The site is built to work without them, so refusing them does not prevent you using it.
How long information is kept
Enquiry records are kept while they are relevant to work you have asked about or had carried out. Job records and invoices are retained for as long as is reasonable for warranty, accounting, and legal purposes.
When information is no longer needed for those purposes it is deleted or anonymised.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it.
Call (720) 698-9746 to make any of those requests. We will explain what we hold and what we can act on.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and that request takes effect immediately.
Changes to this policy
This policy was last updated in August 2026. Where it changes materially, the updated date on this page changes with it.
Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
